WSU and Colville Tribes announce historic partnership

June 30, 2026

Washington State University Athletics and the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation have announced a historic new partnership grounded in shared values of community, culture, and a commitment to developing future generations of leaders. Under the five-year agreement, the largest annual sponsorship in WSU Athletics history, all Cougar uniforms will feature a Colville Tribe jersey patch.

Two appointments to WSU’s Board of Regents announced

Washington State University alumni Fé LopezGaetke and Mary Nam have been appointed to the university’s Board of Regents by Gov. Bob Ferguson. Both appointments will take effect June 9, 2026.
