Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive

The university will offer a Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive (VERI) Program to qualifying participants in the WSU Retirement Plan. TIAA is the vendor for this plan. Those interested in taking advantage of the program should reach out to the Benefits team in Human Resource Services. The Office of Financial Management is finalizing details for a Voluntary Early Retirement Program for faculty and staff in the Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) plan.

The plans include:

  • Public Employee Retirement System (PERS 2 and 3), Teachers Retirement Systems (TRS) and Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters (LEOFF). Once this guidance is finalized, the university will consider options under these plans.
